Harken is a giant mechanical-looking yellow construct with long limbs, uniquely being much taller than the Civilians and other Killers. Her head has a large closed eye and two metal pins to the left and right, with another one appearing to serve as her neck. Her torso is shaped very strangely, with the bottom right being cut off and the left of her torso being somewhat curved down to the right and then to the left. When enraged, the large eye opens, revealing it to be a green eye with a black line splitting it. Harken's head also splits into three, with it being cut downwards to the right.

Harken is a female construct that comes from a different dimension, where noise is a sign of weakness and vulnerability. After government scientists created a portal to her dimension, It caught the attention of Harken who crossed into the other side and went on a manic frenzy, killing the scientists. She now roams the world, seeking silence and killing any unfortunate civilians that are heard by her.

Echo Location (Passive) = When Harken is an active killer, ALL Abilities will generate "Noise," and Harken has a Passive "Noise Meter." When a Civilian makes Noise they will be highlighted to Harken if they are close enough to her, along with filling up a chunk of the Noise Meter. Walking/Running does NOT generate Noise, but taking damage from a killer does. When Harken's Noise Meter is full, she will enter her Enraged State, greatly increasing her Movement Speed, but lowering her Stamina down to 94, her Noise Meter will also begin to Passively Drain slowly while in her Enraged State. Harken's Enrage State ends when Harken's Noise Meter reaches 10 or less Noise. The size of Harken's Noise Meter depends on how many Civilians there, being larger the more Civilians there are. The duration of Harken's Enraged State lasts significantly less for each additional Harken there is in the round. - "We should be cautious, we don't want to bring any attention to ourselves." - One of the Scientists on the Exploration Team.

Swing = Harken swings one of her arms forwards, dealing 20 damage. Unlisted: Generates a small amount of noise on hit. 20 dmg / 25 dmg (enraged) - "You can't be afraid to get your own hands dirty every once and a while." Repress = Harken pauses in place and meditates, placing an ancient curse on all Civilians temporarily. This Ability consumes 15 Noise to use, only one Repress can be active at a time. While under the effects of curse, the Civilians will need to play along with a minigame, or else Harken will be rewarded with Noise for her Noise Meter. The Minigame is similar to "Red Light Green Light," indicated by an icon at the top of the screen. When the eye is closed, Civilians are allowed to move freely, but when it begins to open, Civilians need to stop moving. If a Civilian is moving when the Eye is open, their screen will become blurry, and covered in a yellow tint, disrupting their visibility, and generating some Noise for Harken's Noise Meter. - "...Does anyone else feel like we're being watched?"

Tangle = Harken quickly manifests a Javelin of Light in her hand, and tosses it forwards as a projectile. Upon hitting a Civilian, they will be Tethered to Harken, and pulled towards her in a straight line, Harken and the Tethered Civilian will also regenerate some health. While a Civilian is Tethered to Harken, they will take 25 Damage from Swing, instead of 20. If Harken is Stunned, or if the Tethered Civilian gets far enough away from Harken, the Tether will shatter, freeing the Civilian, but also generating some Noise for Harken. Tangle generates a chunk of Noise, regardless if it hits a Civilian or not. - "Brings me back to my days of fishing with Pop..." Immolate = Harken manifests a Javelin of Light, and impales herself, gaining it's energy, dealing 80 damage to herself, and an additional 20 over time from bleed. From using Immolate, Harken generates a large chunk of Noise for her Noise Meter, and while Harken is bleeding, she has a significant boost to her speed. You are unable to use Immolate while in Harken's Enraged State. - "A gentle reminder of what we're fighting for."

Harken in Old English roughly means "to listen". ^ The name of her chase theme, "Hark, the 'Angel' Bleeds", is a reference to the Christmas carol "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing". Harken carries frequent angelic leitmotifs in her design. Her Repress ability is referred to as a "bless" by her tooltip bar, and her Mastery skin turns her into an angel encased in stone. Her M1 hitbox is the tallest out of any killer in the game. She is the first female killer to be added into Die of Death. Harken is not evil; she only kills because she believes that the Civilians, who make noise, will draw a stronger construct to them both; hence, she fears for her life, dealing with them while she still could. ^ This had to be explained due to the lore-writer in the server, in their own terms, admitting "the way [they] wrote things was rather poor". Harken's Dimension is titled "FableHaven" by the researchers who discovered it. The community referred to her as Ethan before she was fully revealed. She has the lowest health out of any killer ingame, at 400. ^ However, she is the only killer capable of healing herself. Harken has the highest potential M1 damage (without hitting a Civilian who previously enraged her with Taunt) at 31.25, with both pre-rework Artful and Killdroid behind her at 25. To achieve this number, she has to hit a Chained survivor while being Enraged. Harken has the highest potential speed, which can be achieved by using Immolate to activate enraged, causing both the speed boost from Immolate and Enraged to merge, temporarily turning her into an unstoppable force.

Harken is able to hear the following noises: Hotdog (+1*6), BonusPad and CarePad (+1*7), Dash, Adrenaline's Scream, Block's initial Block and Successful Block, Taunt, Caretaker, Punch's Swing and Hit, Revolver's Fire, Hit and Reload, Killers' M1 Hit, Harken Tangle and missed Tangle, Pursuer's scream, Artful's walls placement, Killdroid's Eject Fire and Explosion. Every Survivor currently alive adds 5 to Harken's maximum Noise meter. ^ By reducing the current Maximum with 50, and dividing that by 5, you get the current amount of alive Survivors in the round. Harken is the second killer to have both a passive and ranged ability, with the first being Killdroid. During Double Trouble, if Harken and Artful are the killers, Harken's noise meter will actively deplete when near Artful's music boxes. The place in her icon and in her intro is most likely her home dimension. In her render, Harken is missing some parts. The parts missing are the bottom wedge on her torso and both of the cylinders at the sides of her head. Harken is the only killer to have a randomized intro (in some sort of way), being the sounds. Harken is the first killer that can kill herself, the second being Killdroid with its Detonate ability.
